Gravity : The Movie

I would say Gravity is a sci-fi movie.

Reminds me to those days digesting all facts on astronomy, space travel and mission. All the term used in the film and the theory make sense. Of courselah, citer Hollywood akan begitu teliti pembuatannya.

Ms. Bullock and Mr. Clooney are awesome duo.

It started when a team of astronouts were on their mission to install something but unexpectedly being hit by massive of space debris when Russia nuke their own sattelitte.

As a results, two survivors (Clooney and Bullock) were in search of transportion mode to go back to Earth safely but only one of them can make it.  

Logically, it does not make sense how to go back without Space Shuttle but existing ISS (International Space Station) does provide Soyuz rocket for transportation. 

Therefore they decided,  in any capacity to reach ISS from the point they were hit by the debris, and later to anchor the China Station's pod for the next journey to Earth.

Wah lau, pretty interesting idea to have contigency plan like this, whether it is doable in reality, we do not know. Hopefully.

What can be learnt from this movie?

You know when the trouble comes, and no solution can be found, a flick of idea will just simply work (highlighting the theory of kinetics when Ms. Bullock realized "kuasa tujahan menolak adalah bersamaan dengan kuasa tujahan memberhenti". Physics.

And no to giving up. Just keep trying.

The cinematography is superb. The 3D stuff is amazing when the movie's simple plot relies totally on it.

Hopefully they will get nominated for Academy Awards.
