Some reflection....

First of all, I would like to thank my Roomie, Mala for her influence through the posting she made on this movie, "P/S I love you." If it wasn't her good comment on the movie, I may have chosen any forgettable lousy chick flick or horror movie, yerlakan masa di Batu Feringgi, you can buy 10 and get one free DVD. Nak cepat kan masa tu. The movie reminded me to a lot of thing, which I think a good movie should give some pointers, directly or indirectly to the viewers. Good movies, not only entertaining, but educating as well.

What I like about this movie were some good lines which really damned true. For example;

When Ms Swank whisper to Daniel, "Sometimes women are not sure what they really want"

Yeah, sometimes we wish our other half can magically decode those stuff in our mind, cause we are tired telling them what we want, how it should be (at the point of time and it will be different next time) and etc etc . There are some heated arguements most likely to happen, throwing pillows at each other and the best part, making up. hiihihih

"Lemon drop and tequilla, your thirty year old body is not same as your 29 year old body and what a 29 year old body can get used to"---> not sure the complete line. But honestly, immediately it rang me a bell to an incident happened in this gay club. Moon, ko ingat tak? Orange ? hihihihihiihih

As I grow older, certain things like late night hours with friends will be a thing in the past. Even now, I am so easily get sleepy. Sleep deprived, long journey commuting to work, work stress can easily make me a monster. My body has given some warning signal ---> I almost pitam somewhere, I forget where I put my keys. I want to age gracefully but the aging is even faster.

"When you dont have sex for a long time, you tend to be bitchy and meanie"

Huhu, so true.

Separated by death or by intention, coping with loneliness, is not something we want to do for the rest of our life. It is like wishing the pimple scar to dissappear by great effort and it may happen again.

Warning! Sapa-sapa yang baru mengecapi kemanisan hidup berumahtangga, post di bawah tidak akan membawa apa apa makna kerana ia hanya berkesan kepada orang-orang seperti saya!"

I hate to admit, it take a lot of courage to walk off from a bad relationship or marriage. Been there, done that, frankly speaking, you need to have a good support system to back you up when you become so vulnerable like:

1. Your friends to cheer you up when you need that I-will-survive-karoke session.

2. Your father or mother or siblings who can donate some cash to you since the spouse income for monthly must-have is no longer available. My brother says to me, "again, for another NPL (non performing loan)?"

Even before you think separating is the only way (also for those who dimadukan dan ditinggal-tinggalkan) , please make sure that you have made a lot of preparation before jumping off the wagon.

1.Learn all the skills that make us to depend on the partner
Dismissing your other half is like dismissing workers in the organisation. It affect the efficiency of the system which make you to feel helpless. Driving, DIY toilet seat fixing, even it does not look appealing to you, always keep a number for those who can help you out. Maybe you can fall in love with the plumber. hihihihi.

2. Always have plan to get your own income or source of money
The most important thing. Money is the most sensitive issue unless you are married to a royal, a tycoon or filthy rich spoilt kid but for most cases, before the money depletes, invest it somewhere. Do not ever give up the career. If you have skill, look for a business plan. When you are busy managing your small cafeteria or cupcakes business, it helps you to forget your guilt/anger/frustration and help to build back your self esteem. Even if the business flop, you already have a string of potential people who can offer you a job. Worst come, you can always call the ex, for some help. Get some good lines for the guy to feel guilty for the torture he put on you which you decide to divorce or run away from him. In a nutshell, "Blackmail" !

3. Plan a lot of vacation
After what you have accomplished, get yourselved rewarded with plenty of vacation cause you deserve it dear. Have that all-girl-outing or trip. You can use the time to reflect the thing in the past and plan for the future. You may gain some insight watching other people culture or way of life. Life must goes on, so no regret.

4. Have a diary, journal or blog
The entries you have made will help you to decide the next course of your life. If you are scared to be alone again, meet new people and share your experience. I have encountered a few people, woman and guy, who have the same thing like me. We analyse things. We become friend. Even if it is online anynomous regulars, you can try to develop the support system by your own expense. I have met a jobless arsonist cum architect some years ago. He is now working in an architecture firm which win contracts in Abu Dhabi and other places. The successful stories of other will inspire you to become more resilient. Pray a lot. Who knows, you are preparing to get anothe better partner in the future. Think positive. God is fair to you.

Places to avoid for couples of month after separation (until you gain back the strengh)
1. weddings
2. Hari Raya Rumah Terbuka
3. Bridal's shower/bachelor or hen's party
