Hari Keluarga Mukim Bukit Segumpal

Two weeks stay was not that bad after all. As we were required to conduct any program for District, Mukim or Kampung Level, I was occupied with the whole thing. So, it is agreed that Farah and I would be planning to have a Family Day for our Kampung. And it went well with the proposal, which later it has been changed to be our Mukim Hari Keluarga with the joint effort from our friends, JKKK, Belia and the rest of the folk.

It was not such an easy task. First of all, the budget was the biggest compared to other program. We managed to secure RM2K instead of 5 grand from INTAN. Definitely, it was a tough time to find the remaining fund as the the time was the biggest constraint for this program. I even had to convince the YB and some political figures to donate some of the money which it took me the whole afternoon walking around in Maran Town with proposal in hands. And these people were really not helpful coz they were skeptical about the whole idea of doing this.

So we were rushing to get things accomplished - the invitations, booking, food and drinks, protocols, gift and anything when it comes to a Family Day, within 5 days from the date choosen. It was exactly like in those The Apprentice episodes, ala Kampung with the Durian Season looming around.

The kampung folk were really helpful then, thanks to the involvement of Belia Advisor who managed to get his people setting up the logistic team, food and the drinks. The JKKK also did a huge part in this event by getting a lot of sponsor for the gift and though we found ourselves amused with the folk during the meetings due to their misunderstandings, I can say that the experience was really awesome.

And to my teammates, the anak angkat, I am trully amazed with the spirit shown by you guys. Another best moment of my life since being the Program Director has taken a lot of energy and time focusing on this rather than my kajian.
