New Office & New Colleagues
While some friends of mine from other ministry are anxious with their penempatan in jabatan/unit,we already received some assignments - Buku Akta, clients and meetings. It was indeed interesting to know that I am being placed under Enforcement Division, which earlier the candidate was this tough garang looking guy. Never mind then, my new place is odd yet interesting although I can say, some aspect can be improved within time.
The first day was spent touring the division, from the Pengarah 's room ( mine is this big voice Indian who was from Jabatan Perdana Menteri)to small, forgetable hundred of cubicles. The best part, you will not believe that I will be working with some police staff (superintendant, ASPs, inspectors and enforcement officers) where we had two number of LOKAP and these police personnel rooms somewhere near my own room and definitely my TAIKO friends will find
my connection later is too good for them ahahahahhahahahaha.
The best part was of course, when you are given your own space to work aka my small office room where it shall be decorated tastefully later lar. ahahahahahha Thank goodness the PC is doing well but the Internet was a bit slow. I got my own laser printer and my cabinets to store those files. I can start to do my DPA assignment peacefully, at last.
Mentioning about DPA, yes it is going to be a longer journey where we will be having 9 months, just to get us certified and then start back our work. I wont be seeing much of my family and friends (think of going back to school, my Akta book already made me pening to grasp these law theories and the back-log cases already spinned my already pening head.REPORTS REPORTS REPORTS hahahahahahhah). And just in case you think Civil service people can balik on time at 5 pm, that is not really true. My first meeting took 3 hours. Luckily it did not start at 5 itself as it is practised by other unit. Thankfully!
Though currently I am a bit overwhelmed with this new place and experience, hopefully my other life is doing well as well. It was a 360 degrees turning point of my life. Life is full with the unexpected!
