You are not a Man enough To Me

There was a conflict in the house where somebody‘s presence has created a stir among the resident of my mother’s place. As usual, I would remind this person that his coming to my mother’s house would put everybody in doubt whether he is being sincere to my mum. There has been plan to provoke the guy to leave her peacefully, but my mother is against the idea as to her, let her to live peacefully with her chosen would-be life partner.

What if for example, someone is putting a gun at your loved one’s head and ask him the most critical “will you marry her?” or “do you really love her?” sort of questions. What will you feel when the person just remains silent, while enjoying the last second of his life before the trigger being pulled. To me, the person is being a coward and if there is a chance of my mother to see his expression of doing so, she must be damn upset.

I have to admit that all the while I have been sending reminding SMS to this guy of not to burden my mum with the laundry task, as for me, his previous marriage problem has given this lady a big impact- as a counselor, as someone to listen to your problem, to cheer you up, to simmer the soup or broil the tea for you when you need it the most. But when it comes to the most severe condition like sending my mum to the hospital, he has gone nowhere. And by not defending himself against all my accusation but channeling all the dissatisfaction towards me through my mum is another coward act of this man. I had enough.

Sometimes I have to play a role as a baddie, just to protect my loved ones. It is really sad to see the people get hurt by their venture to find happiness, in what to me, not really a proper way. Defending someone who promises you a million starry, roller-coaster sort of life journey over people who try to be reasonable and logical is another pathetic attempt of lying to yourself. Sometimes you have to admit, that the man is not really enough for you.
